Came to have brunch for my wife’s Birthday and the service, environment and food are AMAZING! Will be making multiple trips even though it’s on opposite side of town I live on! Definitely recommend Alibi
Wow, we were pretty impressed! Went on a Sunday evening for dinner. We actually had the place to ourselves until some rude guy came to dine too (was loudly listening to something on his phone, had to have waiter tell him it was bothering us and still, he had it on but just turned it down). Service was great. Ambience was elegant, romantic, definitely nice for couples. But there is a really nice bar with TVs so if you're looking for something casual, it works too. Beautifully set up with real roses on each table. Very clean. Food was excellent: chicken dumpling soup, wagu burger, salmon, braised pork - all delicious, high quality and beautifully presented. You can order breakfast and lunch items up until 3pm. Drinks were delicious also. Definitely want to return to try breakfast and lunch. I think not enough people know about this place (kinda hidden in a complex) and/or it's a little too "fancy" for the Portage/Kzoo area.
Went for brunch and dinner. For brunch, we had the waffles and lobster Benedict, both delicious. For dinner, the chicken marsala was amazing! The bucatini could've been better. The pasta was a bit dry. Other than that, we love it! Can't forget the French onion soup, flavorful and delicious.
I am reading bad reviews about the servers not being attentive. This to me is respectful in this setting as I was having good conversation with friends and I didn’t want any to be interrupted 10 times asking if I liked my meal. I felt she came over the right amount Of times. I had the filet mignon I asked for medium and it was perfect the steak frites were pretty good this isn’t the Wagyu that you see on TV AKA A5 but it’s still very tender and delicious. Remember folks you’re not getting 300 of steak for 28. The peppercorn sauce was absolutely amazing. The deserts were ok but nothing to write home about, but this isn’t why I came here. I came for the food and the dining experience and was happy with what I paid and what I received
Excellent vibe! Love the food, service & - drinks are excellent. Highly recommend you stop in. We came for dinner but noticed the brunch menu! Yum! Ella and Gabriella were great servers and very personable.
First time in and definitely won’t be our last. Had pork belly hash, short rib sandwich and mimosas. 9our server Alex was very attentive and provided great service!
Wonderful atmosphere our server Danielle was new there and she did a wonderful job and she was very helpful! Our check total (2 people ) was 48 We got wagyu steak and eggs along with French toast. The alibi was basically empty except for 2 others. Despite what the price says on Google maps it does have some very affordable options and I highly recommend anybody who's looked at it try it. The Chefs know what they're doing when it comes to the food I can say that for sure. The wagyu was cooked to perfection and I was very impressed, the French toast and scrambled eggs were perfectly light and fluffy. The have a brunch and dinner menu, if you're looking for mocktails or mimosas this is your place. They also have a lovely bar.
Loved the experience here. Alex was our server and he was amazing! I got the veggie scramble, very delish and my boyfriend enjoyed his meal as well! Mainly came for the espresso martinis but the food was very memorable, would definitely come here again and again!
